Ingredients for the Almond Joy Martini Recipe
These are the ingredients you’ll need to make this delicious almond joy cocktail. You should be able to find everything at your local liquor store.
Vodka
A decent vodka is all you need. You don’t need anything too expensive.
Coconut Rum
Malibu Rum is typically everyone’s go to coconut rum. If you have another brand that you prefer, that’s fine.
Amaretto
Amaretto liqueur will give this cocktail its almond flavor. It’s made with almond extract and is on the sweeter side. I like to use DiSaronno Amaretto.
Creme de Cacao
Creme de Cacao is a chocolate flavored liqueur that will give the cocktail the flavor profile of a chocolate covered almond.
Cream
You can use either light cream or half and half. If you prefer it on the lighter side, go with light cream. If you like it a little thicker, use the half & half.
Garnish
The garnishes I like to use for this cocktail are chocolate syrup and shredded coconut. They add a little flair and flavor to the drink!
How To Make The Almond Joy Martini Recipe
Now comes the fun part. Let’s make the Almond Joy Martini! For the exact amounts of each ingredient, check out the recipe card below.
Let’s start with a chilled martini glass. Put some ice cubes and a little water in the glass and let it sit for a minute.
Dump the ice and drizzle some chocolate sauce on the inside of the glass for decoration.
Now take a cocktail shaker and add ice. Put in your vodka, coconut rum, amaretto, creme de cacao and cream.
Shake it up really well for about 20 seconds.
Open up the shaker and strain the contents of the shaker into the martini glass.
Sprinkle some of the coconut flakes on top of the drink and serve!

Instructions
- Combine vodka, coconut rum, amaretto, creme de cacao and cream in a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Shake it up vigorously for about 20 seconds.
- Prepare a chilled martini glass with a drizzle of chocolate syrup
