The rum cocktails I’m about to list can be made with ingredients you’ll be able to find at lots of grocery stores and Malibu coconut rum.

Malibu rum is probably the most popular coconut rum on the market, but you can use any coconut rum that you like.

Let’s make some tropical drinks!

My Favorite 2 Ingredient Coconut Rum Drinks

Easy 2 ingredient coconut rum drinks - pornstar martini

Porn Star Martini

Here at the Protective Club the Porn Star Martini has become pretty popular.  I usually make it with vanilla vodka, passion fruit liqueur, passion fruit juice and vanilla simple syrup.  It get’s a tropical vide from the passion fruit, but you can always swap out the vodka for coconut rum.  Serve it with a sidecar of bubby!

Easy 2 ingredient coconut rum drinks - coconut rum and coke

Coconut Rum and Coke

This is probably one of the easiest drink recipes you can find.  Use one part coconut rum and 2 parts Coke.  Pour them over a tall glass of ice and garnish it with a lime wedge.

Coconut Cuba Libre

This is an easy one.  Just make the Coconut Rum and Coke recipe above and add some lime juice.  The addition of the lime juice compliments the sweet flavor or the rum and Coke.

Easy 2 ingredient coconut rum drinks - pina colada

Pina Colada

The Pina Colada is the ultimate tropical cocktail.  Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add your coconut rum, pineapple juice and coconut cream.  Shake it up good and strain it in a big glass of ice.  Garnish it with a pineapple wedge and a maraschino cherry.

Coconut Rum and Pineapple

This is a really easy cocktail recipe.  The coconut flavor of the rum and pineapple juice are the perfect tropical flavor combination. Pour the ingredients over a tall glass of ice and garnish it with a couple pineapple slices.

Coconut Rum and Lemonade

This one is so refreshing and so easy.  All you need is some lemon juice, simple syrup and coconut rum.  Shake it all up and strain it over a glass of ice cubes.  It’s perfect on a hot summer day.

Coconut Mojito

This is an interesting take on the classic.  First you need to muddle some mint leaves on the bottom of the glass. Add some ice, coconut rum and club soda. Finish it off with a big squeeze of lime and garnish it with a sprig of mint.

Coconut Rum & Orange

You’ve had a screwdriver before, so now it’s time to have an orange coconut rum cocktail.  Just substitute the vodka for coconut rum.  So basically it’s one part booze and 2 parts orange juice over ice.  Garnish it with a couple orange slices.

Easy 2 ingredient coconut rum drinks - malibu sunrise

Malibu Sunrise

I recently posted an article on how to make a Tequila Sunrise.  Now it’s time to make a Malibu Sunrise.  All you need is coconut rum, orange juice and some grenadine.  This tasty cocktail has all the colors of a beautiful sunrise.

Coconut Bay Breeze

Sometimes you’ll see this called a Malibu Bay Breeze when it’s made with Malibu rum.  It’s coconut rum, pineapple juice and cranberry juice served over ice.  It’s the perfect drink at the end of a hot day when you want to relax.

Coconut Rum and Water

If you aren’t the type of person that likes a sweet alcoholic drink, this one’s for you.  I suggest using coconut water.  It’s a refreshing drink without all of the sweet and fruity flavors.

There are so many other coconut rum drinks to make the list could go on forever.  Coconut rum is a great option if you want a taste of the tropics.
