Coffee Manhattan

It was a perfect mix of coffee and alcohol, and just so smooth.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz whiskey bourbon or rye
  • 1 oz coffee liqueur
  • ½ oz brewed espresso or cold brew concentrate
  • 2 dashes bitters
  • Orange peel
  • Large ice cube

Method
 

  1. In a mixing glass, combine whiskey, coffee liqueur, espresso, and bitters.
  2. Add ice and stir until chilled.
  3. Strain into a coupe or rocks glass.
  4. Express an orange peel over the top and garnish.
  5. Sip and enjoy the balance of whiskey warmth and coffee richness.
