Hello!

My name is Scott Kelleher and I am from County Kerry, Ireland.

After moving to America in 2014 and living in Boston for a few years, my wife Cliona and I moved to Newport in 2017.

Since moving to Newport I have had the opportunity to tend bar at Johnny’s, Pour
Judgment, Tavern on Broadway, O’Briens and most recently the Lobster Bar.

I count myself very fortunate to have worked in these bars and grateful for the friends and regulars I have met along the way.

It has been a dream of mine since I was a little kid to run my own bar.

My Mum & Dad owned bars when I was younger and seeing my dad hold court with all his regulars is a core memory of mine which gave me such passion for the pub scene.

Everyone who came into the bar had such respect for my parents and every regular felt like family. Growing up in Ireland and working in pubs since I was 16, going to the pub was just a part of life.

Whether it was to catch up with one of the lads or a big sporting event, the pub was
always the meeting point. More than just a place to drink, it was a place to reconnect.

I enjoy golfing and everything sports.

If i’m not around the club it means i’m spending time with my family. I have two wonderful boys, Conor and Ryan. I’m sure you will bump into them at some point.

I want to provide the community with a family friendly neighborhood club that will offer great drinks and always have the latest sports on the screens!

As a club, this place is yours to call home, as it is for me.
